Privacy Policy

Effective October 2026

Swiftrust ("we", "us") sets up AI assistants that answer customer messages and book jobs for local businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Who this covers

What we collect

We do not collect payment card numbers through chats, and we ask people not to share sensitive information such as health or government ID details in a chat.

How we use it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use our clients' customer conversations to market to those customers.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers we need to run Swiftrust, under agreements that require them to protect it:

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

How long we keep it

We keep conversation and booking records only as long as needed to provide the service to our client, and in any case no longer than 12 months, unless a client asks us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer. Business account records are kept while the account is active and as required for tax purposes after it ends.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies or local storage needed to work properly. We do not use advertising trackers on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.

Your choices and rights

If you messaged a business's assistant, you can also contact that business directly. We will help them respond to your request.

Contact

Questions or requests about privacy: [privacy email]. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

We may update this policy as the service grows. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
